Whether your church is planning a short-term mission trip or working with internationals living in your town, training can help you become more comfortable and effective in your ministry. The following are links to some of the organizations who specialize in helping individuals prepare to work cross-culturally.
World Impact is a nationwide, interdenominational, Christian discipling and church-planting ministry dedicated to ministering God’s love in 20 American inner-city and camping locations.
The Urban Ministry Institute is a training institution that
exists to equip leaders for the urban church, especially among the poor, in order to advance the Kingdom of God. Located in Wichita, KS, they are opening satellite campuses around the country.

Great Commission Initiative offers strategic leadership training to facilitate church planting movements among people groups living in North America.

Bridges of Understanding is a new Video Cross-Cultural Training series available through Mission Training International.
It is composed of eight video sessions conducted by experts in cross-cultural training. The presenters are
Dwight Gradin, Dan Harrison, John E. Kyle, Marvin Mayers, Sam Rowen and Ted Ward.
The course is not designed to give one a complete understanding of cross-cultural skills, but to serve as an introduction into other cultures. The cost is $50.

World Impact Network of Bellevue, Washington offers an affordable ministry training program for less than $1,000 annual tuition. They describe their program as "practical rather than theoretical, evangelistic rather than theological."
International Training Partners is a ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators "to provide training for those in cross-cultural Christian work."
InterServe/USA offers workshops and materials designed to help your church reach out in ministry to those peoples of the world now immigrating into your area.
